Privacy Policy — ONYX Mail

ONYX Mail is an email client for accessing mailboxes hosted on ONYX mail servers (the onyx.ps domain and its associated domains). We respect your privacy. This document explains what data the app handles and how.

Data we handle

• Your email address and password: entered to sign in. Your password is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection to the ONYX mail service solelyto authenticate to your own mailbox via IMAP/SMTP. On your device, the session credential is stored in the operating system’s secure keystore (Keychain / Keystore).
• Mailbox content (messages, attachments, folders, contacts): fetched from your mail server on demand so you can read and manage your mail. It is not collected, sold, or used for advertising.

What we do not do

• No analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising identifiers.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No profiling.

Data retention

The app does not retain your mail on our servers beyond what your mailbox already stores on your mail server. Signing out removes the stored session credential from the device.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
